Description
A. Salt Composition:
- Ceftriaxone 1.5 gm
- Sulbactam 1.5 gm per vial.
B. Product Introduction:
- Ceftrum-S 1.5gm is a combination of Ceftriaxone, a broad-spectrum third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic, and Sulbactam, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. Sulbactam helps prevent bacteria from inactivating Ceftriaxone, enhancing the effectiveness of the antibiotic. This combination is used for treating infections caused by beta-lactamase-producing organisms that would normally resist the action of Ceftriaxone alone.

- Severe Infections: Used for treating severe infections like pneumonia, sepsis, and meningitis.
- Abdominal Infections: Effective against infections like peritonitis and intra-abdominal abscesses.
- Urinary Tract Infections (UTI): For complicated UTIs caused by resistant bacteria.
- Skin and Soft Tissue Infections: Treats serious skin infections.
- Bone and Joint Infections: Effective for osteomyelitis and joint infections.
- Respiratory Infections: Used for severe respiratory infections.
